New to Yoga and don't where to start? Come along and join in a small and supportive class and get the individual attention and guidance that all beginners need. The Introduction to Yoga classes run over 5 weeks and include:
Week 1 - Breath, Mantra and traditional yoga postures
Week 2 - Wk 1 review and introduction to sun salutation
Week 3 - Feet, hips core and lower back
Week 4 - Head, neck and shoulders
Week 5 - Meditation, Asana and Pranayama
5.30 - 6.30 am
Wake up with the birds and get your day off to a perfect start with an early morning yoga class. Starting at 5.30 am the hour long class will give you the time to enjoy your yoga and not be rushed. Like all our classes the teachers will adapt the style of yoga taught in accordance with the experience of the students attending.
9.30 - 10.30 am
Why not get a group of friends together or come along and make some new ones and start your day with a yoga class. Our teachers adapt their classes according to the experience and preferences of each group. Our aim is to build a friendly and welcoming yoga community where you can enjoy practising yoga in a beautiful environment.
4 - 5 pm
Enjoy yoga with your children! If your children don't play organised sport and want to try something new why not introduce them to yoga and enjoy some precious time together in a calm and relaxing environment. You'll both feel great afterwards and be reinvigorated to tackle those "witching" hours ahead.
6 - 7 pm or 7 - 8 pm
Put those work demands and stresses behind you and unwind with an after work class. Enjoy the benefits of smaller classes allowing individual attention to get the most out of your yoga practice. Set in a beautiful space enjoy the early evening light and treetops views to Mt-Cootha as you finish your working day on a high.
7 - 8 pm
Do you have a sore back, want to be more flexible and have more energy? Why not join our men's yoga class and enter a lycra free zone! Build overall body strength, including your core, improve stamina, endurance and concentration - all aspects that can benefit your life outside of the class. Get some friends together and make it a weekly catch up or come by yourself and join the group. Whether you can touch your toes, or even see them, all ages, stages and abilities are welcome.
